Belarusian products to be presented at food industry exhibition in Uzbekistan

15.10.2019. Belarusian manufacturers will present their products at the international exhibition of food industry UzProdExpo 2019 in Tashkent (Uzbekistan), the National marketing center of the Ministry of foreign Affairs of Belarus reported. The event will be held from 27 to 29 November. At the exhibition site, enterprises will be able to establish business contacts with distributors, retailers, consumers, which will contribute to the increase of Belarusian exports to Uzbekistan, the development of trade and economic relations between the countries.

UzProdExpo is the largest exhibition of food industry in Uzbekistan. Every year it attracts more than 6 thousand visitors, 56% of whom are direct buyers, 23% distributors, 14% retailers and 7% official delegations. It demonstrates food, raw materials and food ingredients, equipment and technologies for their production, processing and storage, trading equipment.

In 2018, the trade turnover between Belarus and Uzbekistan approached $160 million, which is 20% more than in 2017, of which $114 million is Belarusian exports.

The exhibition is organized by the national marketing center of the Ministry of foreign Affairs of Belarus.
