In the exhibition area of 200 sqm with the participation of the flagships of the Belarusian woodworking and furniture industry: OJSC "Gomel furniture factory "Progress", JSC "Molodechnomebel", JV "Zovlenevromebel", OJSC "Gomeldrev" JSC "Mogilevdrev", JSC "FanDOK", OJSC "Ivatsevichdrev" OJSC "Rechitsadrev", "Diamond Luxe", FE "Barro". The enterprises presented including collections of furniture made for the European market according to the corresponding standards and taking into account the modern trends and tendencies dictating need of simple and functional design, use of the massif and natural materials, reserved, "natural" color decisions.
One of the leading manufacturers of upholstered furniture in Belarus JSC "Gomel furniture factory "Progress", founded in 1963 and now numbering more than 200 furniture stores in Belarus and neighboring countries, the international furniture fair Imm Cologne has presented a collection of furniture of multifunctional soft "Scandinavian" sofas that meet all the requirements of modern customers: practical, high quality and environmentally friendly. The frame of sofas is made of birch and softwood, at the base of the seat of sofas used Bonnel spring block with the transformation mechanism "Dolphin" and the module with a mechanical convertible top, used the system of support of the head "Korf Fix" in the back of the sofa.
The wide production range of one of the oldest producers of Cabinet and upholstered furniture of CJSC Molodechnomebel with half-century history of creation was presented at an exhibition of a drawing room with a big dining table and chairs from natural materials and a sofa with decorative elements and a contour carving.
The largest Belarusian manufacturer of furniture for kitchens, living rooms and dining areas, producing furniture for individual orders in large volumes on high-tech equipment SOOO "Zavlenevromebel" demonstrated at the exhibition designer collection of furniture made of metal and oak, as well as dressing room and kitchen made of solid ash, made taking into account modern European trends.
JSC " Gomeldrev "presented a new collection of furniture" Crystal", designed specifically for this exhibition, taking into account the specifics of the local furniture market. Presented at the exhibition living room, table and chair, made of solid oak, oak veneer and 3D-elements of plywood, different verified design, using natural and environmentally friendly materials. The high quality of the company's products is confirmed by the necessary international quality certificates.
JSC Mogilevdrev, one of the leading enterprises in Belarus on release of environmentally friendly furniture and joiner's products from natural materials, at an exhibition presented furniture from solid pine: a bed, a bedside table, a rack, a table, a bench and a buffet. The elegance of the lines and the quality of performance were highly appreciated by the visitors of the exhibition.
Furniture of JSC "FanDOK", whose products are supplied to more than 30 countries, the exhibition met all the latest European trends: versatility, practicality and brevity. A collection of furniture made of solid oak, which includes a bedroom, living room and dining table, fits perfectly into the luxurious interior of a country house, and in the modest interior of small urban apartments.
One of the largest Belarusian woodworking enterprises JSC "Ivatsevichdrev" at the exhibition Imm Cologne presented not only wood-chip laminated boards, well-known around the world under the brand BYSPAN, but also a new collection of furniture for the living room with a dining group, produced under the brand name MySTAR.
The products of OAO Rechitsadrev were presented in a simple and concise design group dining made from natural materials and samples Board products (particleboard, plywood and chipboard). The highlight of the company's stand was a large dining table made entirely of plywood.
The manufacturer of a full cycle - from the manufacture of springs to the finished product SP "Barro" presented at the exhibition comfortable orthopedic mattresses that meet the highest quality requirements. The stand of the Belarusian exposition was decorated with floor mirrors in a baguette from the company "Almaz-Lux".
According to the results of the exposition, the enterprises reached a number of agreements with leading foreign furniture companies on the supply of domestic products not only to European, but also to the far East and Asian markets. CJSC "Molodechnomebel" has reached a verbal agreement with the major trade and manufacturing network OTTO on the supply of upholstered furniture and to expand the markets of Germany, defining the prospects for yields in the US market. JSC "FanDOK", successfully cooperating with the international trade network Jysk, the Netherlands production and trading group of companies IKEA and developing partnerships with the German OTTO Group, during the exhibition expanded the geography of its supplies and concluded contracts with companies from Poland, Denmark, Germany, Italy, Ukraine in the amount of almost 500 thousand euros for the supply of furniture and plywood, and held talks with the Belgian company, whose representatives will visit the company on a business visit in January. New contracts with companies from Bulgaria, Ukraine, Estonia, Russia, Poland, Latvia, Germany, Saudi Arabia, Austria, Brazil, Malta, Israel, Romania, Lithuania were signed by JSC "Mogilevdrev". JSC "Gomel furniture factory "Progress" has signed a contract for the supply of furniture in Lithuania, reached an agreement on the supply of a large trade network in Latvia and cooperation with two German companies, and held successful negotiations with companies from France and Italy. With more than 30 companies held negotiations and outlined ways of cooperation of SOOO "Zovlenevromebel»; the company of JSC "Ivatsevichdrev" intends to develop cooperation with the companies of Poland, Germany, France, the Netherlands and Greece; companies from Poland, Germany, Ukraine, Sweden, Romania, the UAE showed interest in the products of JSC "Gomeldrev".
Participation of the Belarusian furniture and woodworking industry exposition within the largest furniture exhibition Imm Cologne was held under the auspices of the Bellesbumprom concern with the support and active participation of the Embassy of Belarus in Germany, the Association of furniture and woodworking industry enterprises, the holding of BORWOOD woodworking industry organizations and the Belarusian chamber of Commerce and industry. The organizer of the exposition is the exhibition enterprise "Belinterexpo" of the Belarusian chamber of Commerce and industry.
On January 15 and 16, the business program of the event was particularly eventful. Took place the opening ceremony of the Belarusian exposition with the participation of the Ambassador of Belarus in Germany, Denis Sidorenko, Deputy Chairman of concern "Bellesbumprom" Michael KASKO, Chairman of the Board of the Association of furniture and woodworking industry of Belarus Valery Bushilo and Director of the exhibition enterprise "Belinterexpo" of the Belarusian chamber of Commerce and industry Yevgeny Vvedensky.
Thematic seminars and presentations of the Belarusian woodworking potential for German and European business were held. Among the participants are the major industry players and big names: the President of the Association of German forest industry, Jan Kurt, Director of the Association of wooden packaging, pallets and export packaging Markus Kirchner, representatives of the Association of German furniture industry, large commercial and industrial network OTTO, the other of the branch unions and retailers, businessmen from Spain, Poland, Sweden, France and other countries.
According to the Belarusian Ambassador to Germany Denis Sidorenko, " the indicators of export products to Germany are growing - only in 2018 it grew by more than 40%. In 2017-2018 Belarusian exports to Germany increased by more than 30%, the volume of German investments in the Belarusian economy more than doubled.
Thanks to the modernization of the leading woodworking enterprises, the export potential of the industry has grown significantly. The Belarusian pavilion at the furniture exhibition in Cologne is a clear confirmation of this. It is enough to say that for 11 months of 2018 the export of forest and wood products of Belarus to Germany increased by 40% to 189 million dollars".
In 2019, Belinterexpo plans to hold more than 40 exhibitions and expositions of Belarusian manufacturers under the single brand "Made in Belarus" in promising markets to increase Belarusian exports: China, UAE, Sudan, Egypt, Nigeria, great Britain, Sweden, Uzbekistan, Georgia, Azerbaijan, Syria, Iraq, Mongolia, Argentina, Indonesia, Turkey, Bulgaria and other countries.
Expositions of Belarusian manufacturers abroad are an optimal combination of the main factors of successful participation in the exhibition: priority placement in the pavilion, modern exhibition stands, an expanded package of marketing and advertising services, official support and the ability to establish links with the largest regional industry players.
