Exhibition "Belagro-2020" is postponed to September 29 - October 4

15.08.2020. The XXX International Specialized Exhibition Belagro-2020 has been postponed to September 29 - October 4, the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food said. The exhibition was supposed to be held on June 2-6, but due to the coronavirus pandemic, it was postponed to September 1-5, and then to September 22-26. Now the dates have moved another week. A meeting of the organizing committee for the preparation and holding of Belagro-2020 was held at the Ministry of Agriculture, chaired by Deputy Prime Minister of Belarus Alexander Subbotin. The meeting was attended by representatives of ministries, regional executive committees, departments, the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, heads of enterprises. "The issues of placement of exhibitors at the exhibition, trade and public catering facilities, fire safety, law enforcement, traffic management in the area of the event and a number of other topics were considered," the press service said.


The annual forum "Belagro" summarizes international experience in agroindustrial mechanical engineering, serves to search for innovative solutions in the field of environmentally friendly materials and waste-free technologies. A special exposition of the achievements of Belarusian farmers is organized annually by the Ministry of Agriculture and Food. The latest developments will be demonstrated by the scientific and practical centers of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus on agricultural mechanization, agriculture, potato growing, horticultural and food production. The Scientific and Practical Center of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus for Livestock and the Belplemzhivobedinenie State Association will organize a special exposition of the achievements of domestic livestock and poultry farming. It is planned to hold seminars, meetings with scientists, technology developers.
