Partners of JSC "BAAZ" are also enterprises of the Belarusian Railway and Russian companies - Tver Carriage Works, Bryansk Machine-Building Plant, Moscow Metro and other organizations.
The plant's long history contains many bright events, one of which was the decision to create a plant in Baranovichi. Today, many will be surprised by the fact that the decision to create a plant in Baranovichi was made by a government commission in April 1944, when German troops were still in the city.
And the official history of JSC "BAAZ" dates back to August 9 of the same year. Then an order was signed on the organization of the Baranovichi Motor Repair Plant.
So on that date, 159 people were already working at the enterprise, now the Open Joint-Stock Company "Baranovichi Auto-Aggregate Plant" is a powerful, modern, innovative enterprise with almost a thousand employees, which produces high-quality and reliable products that are in high demand both in its own country and abroad.
The first products of the plant were jacks, shock absorbers and steering mechanisms, which are still manufactured here. Currently, the enterprise has a wide range of products, and also constantly introduces innovative products to the market (today their share in the total production volume is 25%).
The Baranovichi Automobile Unit Plant received its current name on June 2, 1966. By this time, the enterprise had already developed a clear technostructure, which allowed it to integrate into the technological chain of external cooperation of the Minsk plant.
In 2009, the plant was transformed into a joint-stock company, and in 2013 it became part of the BELAVTOMAZ holding headed by the management company OJSC MAZ, of which it is currently a part.
It is worth noting that the enterprise has a testing laboratory accredited in the National Accreditation System. There are sanitary-industrial, chemical and metallographic laboratories. An integrated management system has also been implemented and certified, and a policy has been developed in the field of quality, technical safety, ecology, health and safety.
JSC "BAAZ" is a regular participant in national and international exhibitions.
In May 2024, at the leading professional competition among manufacturers of industrial products "Leaders of Industry of the Republic of Belarus - 2024", the Baranovichi Automobile Unit Plant was awarded a 1st degree diploma in the nomination "Leader in the Field of Export Activities". In 2025, the enterprise will participate in the "Government of the Republic of Belarus Quality Award 2025".
