Senators of Belarus strongly condemn the actions of destructive forces to destabilize the situation in the country

The members of the Presidium of the Council of the Republic strongly condemn the actions of destructive forces aimed at destabilizing the situation in the country, undermining the state and social foundations. This was announced yesterday at a meeting with the Chairperson of the Council of the Republic Natalia Kochanova, the press service of the upper chamber of the Belarusian parliament said. It was noted at the meeting that "the presidential elections in Belarus were held in accordance with the current legislation, the results of the electoral campaign objectively and fully reflect the free expression of the will of the Belarusian people."

The members of the Presidium emphasized that the unauthorized actions are by no means peaceful. At the same time, law enforcement agencies act adequately, showing the maximum possible restraint.

Following the head of state, Natalya Kochanova expressed concern that young people are being drawn into street riots. The speaker noted that parents should pay more attention to their children, and young people should not succumb to provocations.
